Aquaventure Waterpark sits on the grounds of the Atlantis, The Palm resort at the crown of the man-made island of Palm Jumeirah. It is a vast park with dozens of water attractions, from family floats down a lazy river to extreme slides with near-vertical drops and loops. Several record-height slides launch from towers styled as a sunken Atlantis.
Beyond the slides, guests get a stretch of private beach, wave pools and lagoons where you can meet rays and other marine animals. There are food outlets, locker rental and shaded lounger areas across the site. The park is built for a full day and works for groups of adults as much as for families with children of different ages.
Tip: Arrive at opening: by midday the queues for the headline slides grow noticeably.
