Description
Dubai Creek Harbour is a large Emaar development rising along the historic course of Dubai Creek next to the Ras Al Khor sanctuary. Its central public area is the landscaped Creek Marina promenade and Creek Beach square, with walkways, restaurants, lawns and viewpoints looking across the water to the Downtown Dubai skyline.
The district is known as the site of the future Dubai Creek Tower, which was conceived as one of the tallest structures in the world; the design has been reworked and construction continues, so for now the tower is best treated as a prospective project. Today people come here for calm walks by the water, photographs of the city skyline, the cafés and the proximity of the Ras Al Khor bird sanctuary with its flamingos.
Tip: Come to the Creek Marina promenade at sunset — it offers one of the best views of the Dubai skyline with Burj Khalifa in the distance.
