Description
Ski Dubai was the Middle East's first indoor ski resort and occupies about 22,500 square metres inside the Mall of the Emirates. It holds a steady below-zero temperature, has real snow and several runs of varying difficulty — from gentle beginner slopes to a steep black run. Besides skiing and snowboarding, there is tubing, snow slides and a toboggan.
One particular point of pride is a colony of real king and gentoo penguins, which you can meet on special programmes. For those who do not ski there is the Snow Park zone with games, ice sculptures and snow caves. All the warm outerwear and footwear is issued at the entrance, so you can turn up in ordinary summer clothes.
Tip: A warm jacket and boots are included in the ticket, but bring your own gloves and hat.
