The Dubai Mall is one of the largest shopping centres in the world and far more than just shopping — it is a full-scale entertainment complex. Under one roof there are thousands of shops, a huge aquarium with an underwater zoo, an ice rink and a waterfall installation.
The mall sits at the foot of Burj Khalifa, and its waterfront opens onto the lake with the musical fountains. It is the central point of Downtown, drawing both tourists and locals.
Tip: The entrance to the fountains is on the Dubai Fountain waterfront side.
