Description
Kite Beach in Umm Suqeim is one of Dubai's liveliest city beaches. It took its name from the kitesurfers, and today it is also a hub for beach sports: volleyball, a running track, outdoor workouts and water activities.
Food trucks and cafes line the beach, while the sail-shaped hotel Burj Al Arab rises on the horizon — this is where the picture-postcard shots come from. Entry is free, and there are showers and rest areas.
Tip: The best view of the sail-shaped hotel and an active, sporty atmosphere — come in the morning or around sunset.
