Dubai Marina district
Dubai Marina
25.0805, 55.1403 An artificial canal with skyscrapers, the Marina Walk promenade and yachts — one of the liveliest districts.
About the district
Dubai Marina is one of the most spectacular and lively districts in the city, built around an artificial canal more than three kilometres long. A dense forest of skyscrapers is reflected in the water, yachts moor at the jetties, and the pedestrian Marina Walk promenade with cafés and restaurants stretches along the waterfront.
It is a popular district with both tourists and expats: housing in towers with water views, proximity to the JBR beaches, an active nightlife. The Marina lives around the clock and is considered the calling card of the 'new' seaside Dubai.
The Marina lives around the clock: in the morning people run along the water, by day they sunbathe on yachts, and in the evening the Marina Walk promenade turns into one big open-air restaurant. This is the most 'Instagrammable' seaside Dubai — with allowance for traffic and the eternal shortage of parking.
