Jumeirah Beach Residence — the beach promenades The Walk and The Beach with seaside restaurants.

About the district

JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence) is a seaside resort district next to Dubai Marina. It is a dense line of residential and hotel towers along an open city beach, with two popular promenades: The Walk with shops and cafés, and The Beach right by the water.

JBR is one of the main holiday spots in Dubai: a wide free beach, water activities, restaurants with sea views and the Ain Dubai observation wheel next door on Bluewaters Island. The district is equally popular with tourists and locals.

JBR is a beach and promenade rolled into one: you can grab a spot on the sand in the morning, ride a banana boat by day, and dine in the evening with a view of the Ain Dubai wheel. On weekends it gets crowded, but it is precisely this buzz that makes the district one of the city dwellers' favourite places to relax.
