More
The Consulate General handles services for citizens of Turkey and provides passport services, notarial actions (certification of signatures, powers of attorney, and copies), matters of civil status, as well as emergency consular assistance. All applications are accepted strictly by prior online appointment; as a rule, the consulate does not operate on a walk-in basis. It is located in the high-rise Dubai World Trade Centre building on Sheikh Zayed Road, which is convenient in terms of transport access and the metro.
For travel to Turkey, travellers from the UAE have two options. For citizens of eligible countries, the easiest way is to obtain an electronic visa (e-Visa) online, which is the fastest method, requiring no appointment or visit. For those for whom the e-Visa is not suitable, visas are issued through the VFS Global visa centre (in Dubai it also operates in WAFI Mall) by prior appointment, rather than directly at the consulate. Before applying, check whether the e-Visa is available to you based on your citizenship and purpose of travel, and review the list of documents in advance.

Frequently asked questions
Can a Turkey visa be obtained online?+
Not everyone can obtain the electronic visa (e-Visa) via evisa.gov.tr: many UAE residents holding a third-country passport need a valid US, UK, Schengen or Irish visa. In other cases a sticker visa is issued.
Where do I submit documents for a sticker visa?+
Turkey's only authorized visa service provider in the UAE is VFS Global; documents are submitted through this center. The appointment is booked online on the VFS website.
Do UAE residents need a visa to travel to Turkey?+
It depends on nationality: some can enter visa-free, while others need an e-visa or a sticker visa. Check your status at evisa.gov.tr before traveling.
