District: Oud Metha

Tasheel centres provide the services of the UAE Ministry of Human Resources: arranging work visas, work permits and employment contracts.

More

Tasheel (Arabic for 'facilitation') is a network of service centres of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), through which all private-sector labour matters are handled. Employers and employees come here to issue and renew work permits, register and amend employment contracts, open and update a company file, and submit labour complaints. If you are starting a new job, changing employer, arranging a work visa, or want to formally record the terms of a contract, this process goes through MOHRE/Tasheel.

Many operations are done online without visiting a centre — through the official MOHRE portal (eservices.mohre.gov.ae) and the MOHRE app, where you can check work-permit status, view contract terms and submit applications. Nevertheless, for first-time processing or complex cases it is often more convenient to go to a Tasheel centre in person. Bring your passport, Emirates ID, a copy of your visa and your employment documents (job offer, contract); the employer will need the company file details. Tasheel centres are spread across Dubai, including in the Bur Dubai area, and usually operate by ticket.

Working hours and services may change — check the official website or call the institution.

What is the difference between Tasheel and Amer?+
