Business Bay district

Business Bay

Coordinates: 25.1857, 55.2654

A business and residential district with skyscrapers along the artificial extension of the Dubai Canal.

About the district

Business Bay is a modern business and residential district located just south of Downtown along the Dubai Canal. It is a dense cluster of skyscrapers where the offices of major companies sit alongside residential towers, hotels and a waterfront.

The district was conceived as the business centre of the new Dubai and is still being actively built up. Thanks to its proximity to the Burj Khalifa and the canal, many apartments enjoy spectacular views, while the area itself is valued for its balance of work, housing and a waterfront promenade.

On weekdays Business Bay lives at a business pace, and in the evenings and on weekends the canal waterfront comes alive with cafés and rooftop bars. The area suits those who want modern housing near Downtown but without its price tag, and who are willing to put up with the construction that is still plentiful here.
