Jumeirah

A prestigious coastal district with villas, beaches and the Jumeirah Mosque.

About the district

Jumeirah is a prestigious coastal district of low-rise development stretching along the shore of the Persian Gulf. It is one of the most status addresses in Dubai: villas, quiet streets, open beaches and the famous white-stone Jumeirah Mosque.

The district is valued for its proximity to the sea and its calm, almost European atmosphere combined with a central location. It is also home to the modern public spaces of La Mer and Kite Beach, while the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel can be seen on the horizon.

Jumeirah means villas behind high walls, quiet streets and the sea within walking distance. By day, life is concentrated on Kite Beach and La Mer, and in the evening the district falls quiet. People come here for tranquillity, status and views of the Burj Al Arab, not for nightlife.
